    Hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Madrasah di MAN Lubuk Pakam Kabupaten Deli Serdang sudah berjalan dengan baik, Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan Manajemen Berbasis Madrasah di Aliyah Negeri Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara yang mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan memperpanjang waktu penelitian, ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Lubuk Pakam menekankan pada: Pertama,pelaksanaan ditempuh melalui pemberian motivasi kepada seluruh personil untuk bertanggung jawab atas tugas yang dibebankan kepada mereka. Dengan pemberian motivasi personil dalam melaksanakan tugas tidak merasa dipaksakan tetapi mereka melaksanakan tugas dengan rasa ikhlas dan perasaan senang sehingga hasil yang diperolah akan lebih baik. Kedua, Pengorganisasian yang mewujudkan usaha bersama dari sejumlah orang untuk mencapai tujuan. Karena itu dalam proses manajemen di¬buat rencana, ditetapkan pelaksana kegiatan, dibagi tugas¬-tugas, diberikan imbalan, diberikan tanggung jawab dan diawasi serta dievaluasi hasil yang dicapai. Ketiga, Perencanaan yang yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif atau bekerjasama dengan mengikutsertakan seluruh personil madrasah dalam semua tahap perencanaan. Keempat, pengawasan dalam konteks MBS yang dilaksanakan di MAN Lubuk Pakam Kab. Deli Serdang dilakukan dengan memantau kegiatan langsung di lapangan baik pengawasan terhadap proses belajar mengajar, guru, tenaga administrasi, siswa dan semua kegiatan yang telah diprogramkan, dengan kata lain pengawasan dilakukan dengan observasi apakah hasil dan proses kegiatan sudah sesuai dengan rencana. walaupun masih terdapat hambatan-hambatan terutama dalam bidang ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung serta masih kurangnya pemahaman pelaku terhadap implementasi Manajemen Berbasis madrasah di MAN Lubuk Pakam Kabupaten Deli Serdang

    Functional MRI characteristics in visual cortex (BA 17, 18 and 19) corresponding to the visual field of normal, glaucoma suspect (GS) and primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) patients

    The purpose of this study was to characterize, differentiate and correlate visual field and brain activation in visual cortex for normal, glaucoma suspect (GS) and primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) participants using Standard Automated Perimetry (SAP) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) respectively. The fMRI scans and SAP test were both carried out in Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM). Two types of black-and-white checkerboard pattern were displayed to the participants during the fMRI scans. The fMRI data were analyzed using WFU pickatlas toolbox targeting visual cortex area. The results showed that there was no significant difference in number of activated voxel between the three groups in visual cortex (BA 17, 18 and 19) while viewing all the given stimuli (p > 0.05). The pattern standard deviation (PSD) of SAP for visual field also revealed no significant differences (p > 0.05) in all groups of participants. However, negative correlation between PSD and fMRI activation was observed. The PSD values increased with a decrease in fMRI activation. With reference to visual field analysis, the results suggest that glaucomatous neuropathy of POAG patients has led to a gradual decrease in visual cortex activation and a gradual increase in PSD

    Water bird diversity in mangrove ecosystem of the Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, is rarely studied. This reseacrh aims to examine the diversity of bird species in the mangrove ecosystem, Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The study was conducted at two stations, namely mangrove forests at the Lakawali River estuary and at the Ussu River estuary. Data collection was carried out using field by field methods, observations were made with binoculars and a Nikon D5200 DSLR camera. Data analysis was performed using the Diversity Index (H’) formula according to Shannon-Winner and evenness index (E) according to Magurren. Species conservation status is determined based on Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/ KUM.1/12/2018 and IUCN redlist. The results showed that 417 individual birds were found consisting of 5 orders, 7 families and 17 species, there was one protected species, namely great knot (Calidris tenuirostris). The diversity index (H’) in the estuary of Lakawali river is 2.48, and in the estuary of Ussu river is 2.59 which indicates the medium category. The evenness index (E) in the estuary of Lakawali river was 0.92 and in the Ussu River was  0.93 which showed that the distribution of species in both habitats was quite even

    Predicting Kereh River's Water Quality: A comparative study of machine learning models

    This study introduces a machine learning-based approach to forecast the water quality of the Kereh River and categorize it into 'polluted' or 'slightly polluted' classifications. This work employed three machine learning algorithms: decision tree, random forests (RF), and boosted regression tree, leveraging data spanning from 2010 to 2019. Through comparative analysis, the RF model emerged as the most efficient, boasting an accuracy of 97.30%, sensitivity of 100.00%, specificity of 94.74%, and precision of 95.00%. Notably, the RF model identified dissolved oxygen (DO) as the paramount variable influencing water quality predictions.     Menelusuri sejarah pemeliharaan al-Quran daripada zaman permulaan turunnya wahyu di zaman Rasulullah SAW sehingga masa kini menunjukkan satu usaha murni yang bertujuan untuk menjaga dan melindungi kitab tersebut dari sudut fizikal dan isi kandungannya. Hal demikian terbukti sebagaimana yang telah disebut dalam al-Quran, hadith dan kisah para sahabat iaitu peristiwa sejarah yang mengandungi unsur yang boleh dikaitkan dengan pelupusan al-Quran. Walau bagaimanapun, perbincangan berkaitan pelupusan mashaf al-Quran perlu diteroka dengan lebih terperinci. Justeru, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana bentuk pemeliharaan dan pemuliharaan mushaf dan bahan yang mengandungi ayat al-Quran dalam sejarah Islam. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kualitatif dengan kaedah pengumpulan data secara analisa dokumen seterusnya data dianalisis secara diskriptif. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa pemeliharaan al-Quran itu sendiri telah berlaku sejak zaman Rasulullah SAW dan titik permulaan sejarah pelupusan kitab suci al-Quran bermula pada zaman Khalifah Uthman bin Affan, yang mana ketika itu semua mushaf dan lembaran catatan yang mengandungi al-Quran telah diarahkan untuk dibakar. Kajian ini memberi implikasi kepada para ilmuan yang membuat kajian bagi memberi pendedahan kepada masyarakat tentang kewujudan dan perkembangan tentang perlupusan al-Quran

    Diuretic properties of Orthosiphon stamineus Benth.

    Ethnopharmacological relevance: Orthosiphon stamineus has been used in traditional medicine for centuries especially to treat diseases of the urinary system. Aim of the study: To investigate the diuretic activity, to elucidate its possible mechanism and to evaluate the renal effects of Orthosiphon stamineus extract. Materials and methods: Water extracts were administered orally at doses of 5 and 10 mg/kg to Sprague-Dawley rats and the control groups were given commercial diuretic drugs either furosemide or hydrochlorthiazide at 10 mg/kg. Urine volume, urine pH, urine density and urine electrolytes were determined every hour for 4 h. Blood was assayed for glucose, albumin, blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine. Results: O. stamineus extract exhibited dose-dependent diuretic activity. However, excretion of Na+ and Cl- was not markedly elevated, but urinary excretion of K+ was significantly increased. O. stamineus extracts slightly increased the serum BUN, creatinine and blood glucose level. Although these levels were statistically significant when compared to control, these levels were still within normal range. Conclusions: O. stamineus exhibited diuretic activity, but was less potent than furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide. Care should be taken when consuming this herb as slight increase of kidney function enzymes was recorded

    Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Analysis to Evaluate Corn Cultivation Technology Based on Farmer Participation

    An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), widely known as a drone, proves very effective in assessing cropping or crop cultivation. Its practical use in evaluating corn cultivation technology systems is feasible when based on farmer participation. UAV can generate the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) algorithm that reflects the greenness of leaves, which is a parameter related to photosynthesis and plant productivity. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the participation-based UAV-derived NDVI could be effectively used to assess corn cultivation technology and determine the appropriate technology to be used in the cultivation. The research was conducted in Tarowang Village in Galesong Selatan District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, using two plots, namely, mother trial and baby trial. The mother trial applied a randomized block design in which eight packages of corn cultivation technology were randomly assigned, whereas the baby trial consisted of eight corn plots cultivated by farmers. In the latter, each farmer received one package of the cultivation technology. The study results indicated that NDVI and yield could effectively evaluate corn cropping. Three packages, i.e., P1, P4, and P5, are recommended for corn cultivation, especially in the village observed. Nevertheless, they are expected to be also applicable to other districts in South Sulawesi to promote improvement in corn production
